The Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance (AWAM) recognizes inspiring individuals that have been devoted to the maintenance field and have had the courage to make their dreams come true. Nominees must have demonstrated, among other qualities, their commitment to community and/or campus service, leadership, responsibility, and professionalism. Self-nomination is also an option.
