Being a PAMA member allows you to receive valuable IA training while not having to travel to far to get it - we bring it to you.
You receive discounts on tools and special promotions, as well as networking with your industry peers in an informal environment. All the advantages of a national organization, who is your voice in dealing with government mandates and FAA related issues. We also offer many special events such as IA renewal courses, a scholarship golf outing, fishing trip, ski trip, Yankee game night, Broadway plays, bowling event, and the holiday social.
We are the Coastal Empire Chapter of PAMA. We offer seven or eight, one to two-hour technical training classes each year that qualify under FAR 65.93(a)(4) for Inspection Authorization Renewal and the FAA's Aviation Maintenance Technicians Awards Program. We also offer our Annual Eight-Hour Trade Show and Maintenance Seminar on March 24th, 2012.
We generally meet the third Tuesday of each meeting month at the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum at 5:00 pm which is after work for many and on the way home.
Membership in COPAMA requirements are simple. You must have an interest in aviation maintenance.
Our membership includes Aviation Maintenance Technicians from the airline, corporate and general aviation communities as well as pilots, vendors, students and companies, all with the goal of aviation safety.

The Ohio Aircraft Technician's Society (O.A.T.S.) is the Cincinnati Chapter of the Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA). Our goal is to give the aviation technicians in the Ohio area a place to come and share experiences, problems and techniques encountered in the everyday workplace; i.e.: Commercial, Business, Corporate or General Aviation.
