Applies systems engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate military weapon systems. This posting is for contract bid purposes.
• Reviews and prepares system engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation; • Applies system engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management; • Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, and evaluates automated data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapon systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.• Other Duties as Assigned
• Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.• A Master’s Degree in the field of endeavor may be substituted for 5 years of general engineering experience and a PhD in the field of endeavor may be substituted for 10 years of general engineering experience.• Must have at least 5 years of systems engineering experience.• Must have at least 2 years of the stated total experience must include performing systems engineering functions. • Must be a US Citizen• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
